In Year 1, we used watercolour paints to create our own rainbows of hope

Year One children who have been in school have had a great start back! They all settled in to our new way of working really well. We are very proud of them! We have done lots of different activities including some brilliant art work. We used watercolour paints to create our own rainbows of hope. We also looked at the work of Andy Goldsworthy who makes sculptures from natural materials. The children collected materials from our outside areas and made their own sculptures. Finally, we have done lots of work across the curriculum linked to What the Ladybird Heard by Julia Donaldson, including these amazing ladybird suncatchers!
