This week in Year 2 we have immersed into our new book Mr Fawkes, the King and Gunpowder Plot.
We drew a story map to retell the main events. We also did some hot seating where the children had to think of questions they would like to ask Guy Fawkes, for example, ‘How did you get the gunpowder into the Houses of Parliament?’
In Maths we have started to look at the inequality signs to compare two 2-digit numbers. We did this using the concrete, pictorial and abstract approach.
In R.E. we thought about songs that are special to us and why.
