The week before half term we had the Space Dome Adventure experience which was a lovely end to our space topic.
This was different being virtual but it was amazing and the children had a fabulous experience. Lots of the children said their favourite parts were when the observatory opened and they could see the stars. They also enjoyed seeing the animals in the stars which they learnt are called constellations.
In Maths we were measuring capacity using litres and millilitres.
In English we wrote a newspaper report about Neil Armstrong being the first man to walk on the moon. In Science we designed a spacesuit and thought very carefully about our previous investigations into the suitability of materials and used this knowledge to choose suitable materials for a spacesuit.
In PSHE we thought about all the things we are grateful for and celebrated all our positives and what makes us all special.
We have had a very busy and different term learning remotely but the children have been amazing.
