Year One have learnt about the importance of bees

Hello Year One!

You have been so busy over the last few weeks and engaging with lots of home learning tasks. Some of you have also been really busy at school! We are so proud of you all and we can’t wait to see you all again soon.

We have been really enjoying hearing about the things you have been up to. Lots of children have been telling us about the time they’ve been spending enjoying the sunshine with their families which is wonderful.

You have learnt all about VE day and took part in some activities at home. We have seen some fabulous costumes, baking and wonderful decorations. We were amazed at what you got up to, and loved looking at all your drawings, work and photographs.

This week it was World Bee Day. Year One have learnt about the importance of bees, their special job and why they do the waggle dance!

Well done for a fantastic few weeks, you have all been amazing. Have a lovely half term!
