Grange Infant School For Parents

School Clubs

Overview

School years are not just a time for classroom learning, but also for identifying passions and hobbies. Here at Grange Infant School, we conduct a wide range of after-school clubs, all of which are aimed at giving our students the best school experience possible. These clubs allow them to follow their passions and develop individual skills and talents.

By taking part in these clubs, our students are able to develop an array of transferable skills, including confidence, imagination, teamwork, coordination, focus, creativity, and determination. Honing these attributes at an early age sets our students up for success not only at school, but also in their adult life.

Please note there is no bookings or payments available in the school holidays for the first week back of the term.

During breakfast club the children enjoy having a choice of healthy cereals, fresh juice, fresh fruit and toast with preserves. After finishing their breakfast the children are free to enjoy multiple activities which change on a daily basis. Some of the more popular activities are bowling, table tennis and Lego building. Some of the children also use their time during breakfast club to complete their homework and spellings, but this is completely up to the individual child. We provide a friendly relaxed atmosphere where the children can socialise before school lessons start.

We currently have spaces available and welcome anybody who would like to join us. If you feel this may be of interest to you please complete a application form online or one can be picked up from the school office. Attendance does not have to be regular, however any required spaces need to be booked and paid for one week in advance.

Why Join a Club?

Young people’s skills start to grow and evolve from an early age, and their time at school plays a significant role in shaping their attributes and personality. By taking part in our after-school clubs, students enhance their social skills and enjoy spending time with other children outside of the classroom. They also develop a range of other attributes, depending on which club they attend.
