On the 16th December, the Grange Infants School Choir joined the Christmas Carols with the Youth Brass Band at Lydiard Park.
The festival was arranged by Lynn Hawkins from Swindon Music Service. After the Christmas Carol Festival at the Wyvern Theatre was cancelled, we jumped at the chance to take part. Our choir had been working so hard at learning all the songs that we wanted to share their enthusiasm and talent for singing with their parents and everyone who attended.
Mrs Barton, along with Mrs Rushen-Gough, Mrs Rudman, and Mrs Renowden, joined 11 students from the choir to sing a range of carols to a packed audience underneath the Christmas tree at Lydiard park.
The choir sang a Christmas Medley and Catch a Snowflake in a joint concert with the Youth Brass Band. The crowd had great fun joining in!
Our pupils put on a fabulous show for the guests. They all sang their hearts out and really joined in with the rest of the carols as well.
We are extremely proud of all those who took part. We would also like to thank all of our parents for bringing their children to the event and also joining in with the carols! We hope you enjoyed it as we did! A special thank you to the children, who were absolute superstars, and Mrs Barton for teaching the children the carols so well and arranging for the school to take part in the festival!
