The White Horse Federation is delighted to welcome two new schools into the trust. Grange Infant School and Grange Junior School both officially joined the federation on 1st March. Located in Stratton St Margaret, Swindon, the two schools are situated less than one mile apart.
The Grange schools are highly principled, and their provision is guided by their values of: always having the needs of children as their starting point, a good standard of behaviour, strong community links, and sharing expertise and experience.
The emphasis the two Grange schools place on values makes them a perfect fit for The White Horse Federation, as we collectively promote values-based education.
Rachel Gallyot, The White Horse Federation’s Regional Director for Swindon, said: "We couldn't be happier to welcome both Grange Infant and Grange Junior School into The White Horse Federation family. These two schools share our values and our approach to teaching and learning, as well as our commitment to delivering the best education possible for children and young people."
"As part of our trust, the schools will benefit from a variety of resources, from professional development opportunities provided by Swindon Teaching School to improvements in pedagogy powered by access to our wide community of passionate and experienced educators. We are looking forward to working alongside Grange Infant and Grange Junior School to continue improving our educational offer to young people in Swindon."
Grange Infant School and Grange Junior School are the third and fourth schools to join The White Horse Federation this academic year, following the induction of Swindon’s St Luke’s Academy in September 2018 and Reading’s St Mary & All Saints CofE Primary School in November 2018.
The White Horse Federation is excited to welcome Grange Infant and Grange Junior Schools onboard, and we will be working hard to improve outcomes for the schools and all their pupils.
