To support our learning in Science and English, we visited Stanton Park. The children explored their surroundings looking for signs of spring and completing a scavenger hunt. We were lucky we found most things, even a frog! It was quite muddy in places, even some wellies got stuck! Mrs Barton shared the story of the 'Deep Dark Wood'. This helped us think about the characters in the story ready for when we write our own character descriptions. Thank you to all those who volunteered.
The children were also lucky this week to have an enrichment session focusing on archery. They tried out the equipment and practised taking aim at the target, some with great success. Well done to our star archers!
