School Hours & Term Dates
Drop off Arrangements
Children arrive at school, accompanied by parents/carers, by 8.15am, ready to enter school at their designated drop off point. All doors and the EYFS gate, will be locked promptly at 8.20am. Registers will be taken at this time and all other gates (except for the gate via Delamere Drive) will also be locked shortly after, for child safety.
For parents/carers with children in more than one year group/ class, it is recommended that they see their eldest child into their class door at 8.15am and then accompanies their younger sibling to their drop off point. Parents/carers should discuss this with their class teacher, if they have any concerns.

EYFS Children - EYFS gate opens at 8.15am and parents/carers will enter to hand over their children to their teachers by 8.20am, when the gate will be locked.

Year 1 Children - Doors near the lower playground near Ermin Street gate, will open at 8.15am for children to enter school, closing promptly at 8.20am.

Year 2 Children - Hall doors near the upper playground, will open at 8.15am for children to enter school, closing promptly at 8.20am.
Late Arrival
Children arriving after 8.20am will need to be brought into school, by their parents/carers, through the main entrance via Delamere Drive, to register their child with the school office and provide a reason for their late arrival, in line with our Attendance Policy.
Collection Arrangements
At the end of the school day, children will be handed over to their parents/carers, at the same drop off points. Teachers will only hand over children to parents/carers or an authorised adult, where a parent/carer have given their consent for this to take place.

Teacher Training Days 2024-25
It should be noted that the school is closed to pupils for additional days during the academic year for staff training. In the 2024-25 academic year, teacher training days occur on the following dates:

- Thursday 24th October 2024
- Monday 6th January 2025
- Monday 7th July 2025
Term dates
Detailed below are the term dates for the 2024-25 school year. Please book family trips and holidays outside of school time. If you book a holiday during school time or need to register an absence for any other reason, please complete an Absence Request Form. Please be aware that you may be issued with a penalty notice of £60 per child, per parent, for time off taken during school time.
