This week, in English, we have focused using s and es for plurals. In addition, we have been using 'and' to join clauses. We practised both of these skills in a slow write where we added our own words and clauses. We wrote a letter to grandma explaining who we saw on our walk in the deep dark wood and what happened.

 

In PE, we are learning the skills linked to tennis. We have practised bouncing and catching in the ball with two hands. After, we extended this by working with a partner to bounce the ball into a hoop and then catch it. At play times, we have been trying to hit the ball with a bat. We have found it a bit tricky!
