What a great first day back this week! Year 1 were lucky to take part in a drama workshop today focusing on the Great Fire of London. We learnt some different drama techniques as well as learning some key facts about the historical event. We know the baker was called Thomas Farriner and the Great Fire of London started in his bakery in 1666. We learnt the king was King Charles the 2nd. We explored the different methods used to stop the fire. This has been a fantastic way to start our History learning.
