This week, Year 1 have restarted the visits to the school library!
The children enjoyed exploring the different books available. Many chose to quietly read a book or share one with a friend. Also, there were many requires for the teacher to read books. It was a lovely time spent as a class.
The children were very excited this week to start our computing lessons for this term. We are learning word processing skills. We began by looking at the keyboard and exploring the keys. The children used the space bar, enter and backspace as well as typing their name. To embed their skills, they typed a 'lost' poster and saved their work. Next week, we will continue to explore changing the font size, style and colour as well as underlining and bold.
