This week, our Year 2 children had the exciting opportunity to learn about Mary Anning and her remarkable life as a palaeontologist. To immerse ourselves in her world, the children became palaeontologists for the day, hunting for fossils on the playground. Through careful digging, they unearthed the fossils (chocolate chips) hidden within the rocks (cookie). The activity was a tremendous success and the children are very excited to explore more about Mary Anning and her remarkable discoveries.
