What a week we have had! From the 10th July to the 14th July our children were put through their paces with a range of different sporting activities each day for them to test their strength, endurance, and cooperation skills. Both the children and the teachers were delighted with each activity organised and all thoroughly enjoyed taking part.
All of our activities were inclusive for all and everybody had a go at everything we offered. The week is designed to promote self-belief, teamwork, and communication skills and to offer the children a range of different sports that perhaps they wouldn’t have seen or even heard of before this week.
The children took part in a range of different sports from: Drumba, Dragon ball, tri-golf, parachute games, ultimate frisbee, and fencing. We also had a session all about healthy life-styles and fitness from kidz fit and Dean, from Mini Warriors, who put the children through some tough endurance and strength tests in a mini boot camp. We also had Jonny Urszuly, Ninja Warrior Champion, in for an assembly and sessions with the children where they completed their own ninja warrior course.
It was such a fabulous week and was an absolute joy to see our children take part in such a range of different sports. They all showed such resilience and endurance to complete each activity.
