This week the children had a great time celebrating their love of reading.
It was lovely to see the children having so much fun in their pyjamas and costumes. There was lots of rich discussions between the children about their favourite books and book characters. Please continue to support your child at home to continue to develop their love for reading. It’s all about reading for fun. When children read it makes them better at reading, they feel happier and they are more successful.
The message for World Book Day this year was reading is for fun and a powerful way to learn more about the things you love. ‘Put simply: If you’re into it, read into it.’
