The Year 2 children had a fantastic time visiting the Museum & Art Swindon. They discovered that, millions of years ago, Swindon was underwater, which means that fossils from sea creatures can be found there rather than land dinosaurs. The children enjoyed handling and excavating real fossils, making them feel like true palaeontologists! They also learned about the rich history of Swindon, exploring how the area changed over time from the Stone Age right through to the Victorian era. It was a fascinating and memorable day, full of exciting learning experiences.
