This week started with National Art Day and the school disco. In Art, we focused on circles. We were inspired by the concentric circles artwork by Kandinsky. We also created a coloured circle with patterns and shades of the same colour. Look out for the Art displays coming soon to school. Thank you FOGS for the disco.
In English, we started our learning based on the book 'Deep Dark Wood'. To help us with writing instructions later in the term, we followed instructions to make a paper plate monster.
This term in Science, we are focusing on plants. We began our topic by looking at different seeds and then each choosing seeds that we would like to plant. Some of us planted peas, tomatoes, peppers, dahlias, cosmos and pansies. Hopefully, we will see shoots next week.
