Week 2 has seen us continue to work on our drumming skills. We are busying practicing drumming to different songs. Towards the end of our lessons, we will select our favourite songs and perform them at our drumming concert next term.
In Science this week, we have continued to look after our seeds. Our learning has focused on the structure of plants. We explored plants by looking for the roots, stems, leaves, flowers and petals. We talked about the job of the different parts. What different plants do you have growing in your garden?
Geography has focused on learning about countries of the United Kingdom and nearby seas. We also learnt the capital city of each country. The children drew some amazingly accurate maps.
